Welcome to the Home of the Columbus Artists' Guild

The Columbus Artists’ Guild in Columbus, Georgia, was formed in 1950, and is a 501-c3 non-profit organization.  Membership is open to all artists and art lovers.  Its purpose is to be a meeting place for local artists to come together, to learn, and to gain support from old and new friendships.  Each month, the guild offers meetings featuring an art related program or demonstration which is open to the public.  Other activities of the Guild include group paint-outs and workshops.  Guild members are available to speak at school or club functions.

The Guild sponsors two or more shows each year, and other opportunities to exhibit for its membership. There are currently over 170 members.

Another goal of the Columbus Artists’ Guild is to promote local art. This is not just to benefit local artists; it is also to encourage the people in the Columbus area to be aware of the many talented artists who live among them. Guild members hope the public will then be encouraged to join them, by participating in the artistic process, and celebrating the artistic endeavor on a personal level. Enjoy art, and BE an artist!
